How we are organized
Pareto principle
All our decisions and actions are determined by our grassroot members with 80% veto and the management team with 20% veto
As in any organization, the current one means shared equity and responsibility but equally critical for us, is its representativeness of the Afro-community - in Africa and the diaspora.
Our current structural entails;
Board of Governance:- Ownership structure of Ubujima is the foundation members, the design of which all members are invited to part - take in the foundation's decisions and adminstration, and the administrative leadership of which will be elected by the network members - a distributed network with no central control or ownership.
Administrative Team:- Ubujima is managed by an advisory board and a devoted team, led by the founder to executes Ubujima's strategies and leads its operations and business activities soul-heartedly towards the shared vision of the members.

Managerial Team: primary founders and team of passionate and experienced individuals from various backgrounds making it all happen

Regional Chapters: regional teams to manage country clusters.

Country Chapters: representative of each African country and the global diaspora communities

Local Chapters: representatives for small localities, interest groups and beyond. Ubujima is about the grassroots hence our structure going that far down.
